The Finance Controller/Analyst (Junior) will work closely with the CFO and Partners, and will join the team in charge of a portfolio of clients under his/her responsibility. This position offers a strong opportunity for advancement within the organization.
This is a face-to-face position , based in Barcelona. Please note that due to the nature of this position, we will only consider applications from people already based in Barcelona or wishing to return, and with a good command of French.

Our customers are mainly startups and digital companies. Founded in 2021, Iter Advisors is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a Finance Controller/Analyst (Junior) to support us in this key phase.

Responsibilities
The Finance Controller/Analyst (Junior) will be responsible for the financial and reporting needs of our customers.
Its missions will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide an analytical and forward-looking vision to provide strategic information through financial planning and analysis (FP&A):
- Financial forecasts including workforce management
- Provide real-time cash flow forecasts
- Lead annual and quarterly budgeting processes
- Develop and maintain analysis tools and KPI dashboards
- Ensure the accuracy and updating of key financial indicators
- Maintain relations with external accountants, banks and tax advisors
- Manage P&L financial results, identify risks and opportunities and propose corrective actions
- Provide in-depth analysis of monthly results to support decision-making by our customers' management teams
- Supervise day-to-day accounting in collaboration with customers' internal resources
- Continuously improve reporting tools within the finance department and for customer needs
- Accounts Receivable & Payable management
- Cash management: cash flow monitoring, forecasts, FX management, etc.
Profile sought
- Fluent in English and/or French, with an advanced level of Spanish (written and spoken).
- 1 to 3 years' experience in a financial function covering accounting, controlling, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), reporting, budgeting and cash management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior executives, employees at all levels of the organization as well as external contractors.
- Great attention to detail and rigorous execution of tasks.
- You value autonomy, independence and confidence in your work, and are always ready to take on new challenges and implement innovative ideas.
- You'll thrive in an international environment.
- You're calm, able to defend your decisions rationally and empathetically, inspiring confidence and credibility.
- An inquisitive and innovative mind: you are keen to improve financial processes and implement impactful changes. An interest in technology-based financial systems is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial analyses.
- Knowledge of Barcelona's startup ecosystem is an asset.
