As Senior Finance Manager, you will work closely with CFOs, partners and senior management on a specific client portfolio, playing a key role in our expansion, particularly in the French market. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career development within our organization.
This is a face-to-face position , based in Barcelona. Please note that due to the nature of this position, we will only consider applications from people already based in Barcelona or wishing to return, and with a good command of French.

Iter Advisors is a consulting firm specializing in Corporate Advisory as well as part-time and fractional CFO services.
Our customers are mainly startups and companies in the digital sector. Founded in 2021, Iter Advisors is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to support us in this crucial phase.

Reporting line
You will report directly to the CFO, Partners and Board of Directors.
You will work with a variety of external players (tax advisors, payroll providers, financial experts) and maintain strong internal relationships with the various departments of the customers and partners under your responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 1 to 3 junior financial analysts who will assist you in your assignments.
- Drive financial planning and analysis to provide strategic, actionable information.
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting and long-term strategic planning.
- Develop analysis tools and KPI dashboards.
- Guarantee the reliability of financial indicators and compliance with reporting standards.
- Maintain relations with external accountants, banks and tax advisors.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable and cash management activities.
- Customer, board and shareholder relations: manage communication and requests between customers' boards/shareholders and the customer itself, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Team leadership: supervise and mentor a team of junior financial analysts, overseeing their development and skills enhancement.
- Customer portfolio management: ensure efficient follow-up and guarantee high-level financial management and optimal customer satisfaction.
Profile sought
- Fluent in French and English, with an advanced level of Spanish (written and spoken).
- 7 to 8 years' experience in financial positions covering accounting, FP&A, reporting, budgeting and cash management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior executives, employees at all levels of the organization as well as external contractors.
- Great attention to detail and rigorous execution of tasks.
- You value autonomy, independence and confidence in your work, and are always ready to take on new challenges and implement innovative ideas.
- You'll thrive in an international environment.
- You're calm, able to defend your decisions rationally and empathetically, inspiring confidence and credibility.
- An inquisitive and innovative mind: you are keen to improve financial processes and implement impactful changes. An interest in technology-based financial systems is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial analyses.
- Knowledge of Barcelona's startup ecosystem is an asset.
