Mission summary
Following the recommendation of a trusted partner, the Solarmente management team commissioned us to establish and structure the finance function within their company.
We had to design decision-support reporting tools, which they were sorely lacking, and integrate a high-performance ERP as well as an outsourced payroll management system. 2 members of our team took part in this mission, working 1.5 days a week.
Our collaboration was crowned with success, notably with the completion of a record €50 million financing round, which enabled Solarmente to develop an innovative service offering (in SaaS format) for their business sector, as well as supporting their internationalization strategy.
6 months later, management opted for a permanent in-house team, recruited by Iter Advisors, now that structures and processes were well established.
As the results of this transition did not live up to expectations, Solarmente's management called us back 5 months later to begin a new assignment. This included supervising the finance department and mentoring the new team.
Today, a 3-person team covering finance and HR works closely with Solarmente's business teams and management, a sign of a lasting and evolving partnership.
