Benjamin Ziza
Co-founder and CFO
Benjamin Ziza is Co-founder and CFO at Iter Advisors, which he founded in 2021 with Sébastien Doat and Guillaume Rostand. Based in Barcelona, he oversees a portfolio of fractional CFO engagements and co-leads the firm's Transaction Services practice with Sébastien Doat.
He trained in accounting at ENOES, completing the DCG and then the DSCG, and followed the chartered accountancy qualification curriculum through the French Ordre des Experts-Comptables. He began his career as a financial auditor at Mazars in Paris. For more than three years, he conducted statutory audit and accounting engagements, mainly in insurance and the non-profit sector. For a global insurance leader, he joined the task force established after an SAP migration: cleaning up 11 million accounting entries, building a KPI database for weekly steering committees, and training groups of 20 to 150 employees.

He then joined Amaris in Barcelona, an international consulting group operating in 45 countries. For the executive committee, he structured the management control department, managed a team of 15 people and led its relocation to Vietnam and Romania. Appointed Regional Financial and Administrative Manager, he took responsibility for 10 legal entities and 45 business units, representing around 30% of group revenue, with a team spread across France, Spain, Romania, Vietnam and Mauritius.
At IWG, the parent company of Regus, he was Financial and Administrative Manager for 7 countries, 60 legal entities and £26 million in revenue. His responsibilities covered statutory accounts, audits and tax inspections, monthly reporting, cash management and bank financing, dividend distributions and recapitalisations.
In 2018, he became CFO of Billy Mobile, a Barcelona-based performance mobile advertising network, a position he held until 2022. This operational adtech experience remains a central thread in his portfolio: vendor monetisation platforms, advertising networks, affiliate marketing and mobile marketing.
At Iter Advisors, he has supported around thirty companies in Spain and France in adtech and digital marketing, biotechnology and AI for healthcare, travel and hospitality, real estate, B2B SaaS and mobility. With Sébastien Doat, he co-leads the Transaction Services practice: buy-side due diligence for investment funds, sell-side due diligence, business plans and data rooms to prepare business sales.
His dual background as an auditor and finance director of multinational groups shapes what he brings to founders: reliable accounts, properly managed entities across jurisdictions and a rigorous reading of the numbers when a transaction is being prepared.
He regularly participates in Barcelona's business ecosystem, including the panel discussion "From 10 to 100: keys to scaling your company" organised by Iter Advisors and Barcelona Finance Hub, and discussions on business acquisitions and financial due diligence alongside Guillaume Rostand and Sébastien Doat.

Areas of experience
Structuring and managing the finance function
Cash flow, budgets, management reporting and business indicators are central to his work. The aim is to connect the figures with the company’s situation and its leaders’ decisions.
Transaction Services and transaction preparation
His work covers forecasts, the consistency of financial models and preparing information needed for investor discussions or a transaction. This preparation is distinct from funders’ decisions and the responsibilities of specialist advisers.
Businesses operating between France and Spain
Benjamin also works on financial and organisational questions in a cross-border environment. Tax and legal matters must be addressed with the appropriate professionals, according to the scope of each engagement.
Articles and resources
