Editorial illustration: Agicap vs Fygr — comparison of treasury tools for SMEs

Agicap and Okimia, formerly Fygr, offer cash flow monitoring and forecasting tools. The choice depends on your banks, your entities and how you construct your forecasts. A number of employees or an old call price is not enough to decide between the two.

Before comparing the software, distinguish balance, receipts and disbursements in the guide cash flow.

The verdict in 30 seconds

Preselect solutions for the same need: consolidate your balances, explain movements and anticipate disbursements. Agicap also offers management functions for customer and supplier positions. Okimia presents the connection of bank accounts and ERP. Request a demo of the features included in each offering under consideration.

Example test for a group

Fictitious selection case: a parent company and two subsidiaries exchange cash. Load the same moves into each solution. Check that an internal transfer does not artificially inflate consolidated collections and that each subsidiary maintains its own vision. This test describes a need, not an Iter customer result.

Test example for an SME

Fictitious case: an SME must pay its salaries before collection from its main customer. Shift this recipe into a copy of the forecast. The manager must be able to identify the low point, find the hypothesis and check the difference with the initial scenario. Evaluate the update time and the responsible person's understanding of the result.

Organize the management after the choice

The software collects data; a person must keep the assumptions up to date. Set up a gap review, a person responsible for deadlines and the decisions to be made when cash flow falls below your security threshold. Our support in cash flow forecasting relates to this organization.
